Kevin Wildrick - Head Coach

Coach Wildrick has 13 years of wrestling experience at a small school district just north of Syracuse, NY. This is Coach Wildrick’s fourth year with Seneca Valley. Prior to Seneca, he coached seven years with North Allegheny as Varsity Assistant. Currently, he is the Dean of Students in the Senior High School.  He and his wife Erin, and daughters Cecelia, Nora, and Hazel reside in Evans City.

Seneca Valley High School Assistant Coach - 2015 to present; Seneca Valley Junior High Assistant Coach - 2014-15; Seneca Valley Youth Head Coach 2008-12; Seneca Valley Varsity Head Coach - 1999-2003; Seneca Valley Varsity Assistant Coach - 1997-1999; Section 3 Coach of the Year – 2001; Section 3 Assistant Coach of the Year – 2018 & 2019; WPIAL Assistant Coach of the Year – 2018

From 2015 to 2019, assisted Seneca Valley to two Section 3 Team Championships (2018 & 2019) an appearance in the Team WPIAL Finals, & 2 consecutive appearances at the PIAA Team State Championships in 2018 & 2019, the first time ever in school history.  Also assisted Seneca Valley to 4 WPIAL Individual Champions, & 7 individual PIAA State Medalists in the past 5 years including 5 appearances in the PIAA State Finals and 2 PIAA State Titles. 

From 1999 to 2003, assisted Seneca Valley to 9 PIAA State Qualifiers & 4 PIAA State Medalists.

Jake Calvin - Coach

Coach Calvin competed for over 15 years and was a 3x PAJW state medalist as a youth. While competing in Florida as a high schooler, he was a NHSCA All-American, a 2x AAU All-American and a 3x state qualifier (including a 3rd place finish).  Coach Calvin won a gold medal at the Cliff Keen Reno Worlds before competing at Belmont Abbey College (NCAA Division II). He has been an assistant coach for the Seneca Valley High School program since 2011 and joined the elementary coaching staff in 2017.  He is a father to Mackson, Tristen, Audriana and Charlotte.
