Coach Wildrick has 13 years of wrestling experience at a small school district just north of Syracuse, NY. Prior to Seneca Valley, he coached seven years with North Allegheny as Varsity Assistant. Currently, he is the Dean of Students in the Senior High School. He and his wife Erin, and daughters Cecelia, Nora, and Hazel reside in Evans City.
Jake Calvin - Coach
Coach Calvin competed for over 15 years and was a 3x PAJW state medalist as a youth. While competing in Florida as a high schooler, he was a NHSCA All-American, a 2x AAU All-American and a 3x state qualifier (including a 3rd place finish). Coach Calvin won a gold medal at the Cliff Keen Reno Worlds before competing at Belmont Abbey College (NCAA Division II). He has been an assistant coach for the Seneca Valley High School program since 2011 and joined the elementary coaching staff in 2017. He is a father to Mackson, Tristen, Audriana and Charlotte.
Drew Smith - Assistant Coach
Coach Drew Smith has been coaching with the Seneca Valley Youth program since 2013. He has coached at all 3 levels of the program during these 5 years. He was also the Head Coach of the Jefferson Middle School Wrestling team in the Mt. Lebanon School District where he is an 8th Grade U.S. History teacher. Prior to his teaching career, Coach Drew spent 11 years as an Officer in the Marine Corps, where he flew the CH-46E helicopter during two different tours in Iraq. He also spent time as an Officer recruiter in Western PA helping to train collegiate students to complete Officer Candidate School. Coach Drew graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2001 where he was a 2 times Varsity Letter winner in wrestling. During High School, he held a 148-24 career record and was a 4 times District placer and 2 times placer at the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament earning 2nd place his sophomore year in Division II and 4th place his senior year in Division I.
